Release 26.2.0

New Feature

File Scanner for Portal

File attachments and images uploaded through Resolver's Portals, using forms or chat, are scanned for malware, ransomware, and other malicious payloads before being attached to an object. The File Scanner feature provides customers with auditable evidence when performing penetration tests, SOC reviews, and security questionnaires. Files blocked by the File Scanner are never stored and are automatically removed.

Feature Enhancements

Secure Login: SSO vs Password Authentication Selection

Note.png
Note:
This UX enhancement will be rolled out in the weeks after the 26.2.0 release. We are providing advance notice of this login enhancement through multiple communication channels to ensure all users are aware prior to the change.

Two login options (Login with SSO and Login with Password buttons) were added to the Resolver Core Login screen, enhancing security. Users will have the option to log into Resolver Core using either password-based authentication or SSO (Single Sign-On) authentication. Once a login option is selected, that option will remain the default the next time the user logs in.

Gap Analysis: Performance Improvements

We have improved the performance of how the AI Gap Analysis feature handles large libraries and datasets, improving generation speed and reliability. The Recommended Controls and Find Similar Requirements screens now open in the correct view and perform consistently for read-only users.

AI Case Summarization Setup Enhancements

The following elements were added to the AI Case Summarization Setup Enhancements feature:
  • A new AI Settings tile was added to the Data Model section on the Admin Overview screen. This new area is where administrators configure AI Summarization instead of using the Data Definition.
  • Administrators can select forms from the anchor object and automatically map form parameters (fields, formulas, and properties) to AI Summarization configurations.

Notes:
Existing AI Summarization configurations will be migrated to the Admin: AI Summarization Configurations screen under the AI Settings tile in the Admin Overview screen.

The AI Summarizations Configuration name will default to the Data Definition name when migrated but can be edited.

Bug List

  • A scheduled trigger issue was addressed where moved objects were unexpectedly reverting to their previous states.
  • The Default Condition Formula will appear on the Deletion Report as expected.
  • Objects created from Dispatch will display the user who performed the action in the Performed By field in the Data Audit Trail screen, instead of displaying the integration user.
  • Improved the performance of the User Audit Trail so that filtering by user no longer causes the screen to become unresponsive or time out.
  • Point-in-Time reports apply user-permission checks to all objects in a data definition path, ensuring that users only see historical data they are authorized to access.
  • The Review and Confirm Scope button was not displayed consistently during assessment scoping. The button will now appear consistently while scoping.
  • Searching using report object filters now clears previous results and display updated search results.
  • Accessing Trending Table reports will no longer result in a 504-timeout error and "Resolver overloaded" message.
  • Fixed an issue where the workflow transition success banner shifted positions instead of displaying in a fixed location.
  • Fixed an issue where duplicating a report configuration resulted in an Internal Server Error.
  • Fixed an issue where relationships between objects of the same Object Type could only be created through the API for Relationship Types where that Object Type was configured only as the Source or only as the Destination.
  • Fixed an issue where incorrect error messages or status codes could be returned when attempting to remove users or groups from object roles through the API using invalid object, role, or user IDs.
  • Customer organization administrators are now restricted from modifying the first name, last name, or email address of Resolver users (i.e., users with email domains @resolver.com, @kroll.com, @crispthinking.com, and @coreqe.com). Customer administrators will have access to control user access and user group memberships for these users.
  • We have removed the /user/user/page endpoint to transition to a more focused endpoint that limits the data returned to only necessary information, preventing authenticated users from potentially retrieving the full list of application users.

New Content Translations

Please review the attached file for all new content translations added to the system.

If your organization is utilizing the Language Translation feature, please download a new Language template (for your required language) and filter the Language column (last column) by empty cells, indicating new content. Any empty cells in the Language column must be translated, and the Language Template file must be uploaded to the system for changes. For further information, please refer to the Add a Language article.
