Creating an AI-Summarization Configuration
A Data Definition must exist before the feature can be configured in AI Settings within Admin. It is recommended that a new Data Definition is used within the AI Settings Configuration to allow for more flexibility.
- From the Admin: Create AI-Summarization screen, enter a name for the AI-Summarization Configuration in the Name field. The name is used to identify the AI-Summarization Configuration within the system.
Name Field
- (Optional) Enter additional information outlining the AI-Summarization Configuration in the Description field.
Description Field
- Select a data definition from the Data Definition dropdown menu. The data definition determines which objects can be pulled into the AI Summarization Configuration. For example, if a form has three object types—Incident, Incident Type, and Business Unit—but the data definition only includes Incident and Incident Type, then when the form is selected, only the fields, formulas, and other related items for Incident and Incident Type will be added.

- Click the Create button to create the AI-Summarization Configuration.

- After creating an AI Summarization Configuration users can select the data (fields, formulas, and properties) used to generate case summaries. Please see the Editing an AI Summarization Configuration article for further information.
