Configuring the AI Summarization Section on a Data Definition

Overview

Configuring the AI Summarization tab on a Data Definition allows users to select the data (fields, formulas, and properties) used to generate case summaries.


User Account Requirements

The user account you use to log into Resolver must have Administrator permission to use the Data Definitions feature.

  1. From the Home screen, click the Administration icon.

  1. From the Administration Settings menu, click the Admin Overview link.

  1. From the Admin: Overview screen, click the Data Definitions tile on the Data Model section.

  1. From the Admin: Data Definitions screen, enter a Data Definition Name in the Search field and click the Data Definition Name link to add AI Summarization to an existing data definition or click the + Create Data Definition to create a new data definition to use for the AI Summarization feature. Please see the Creating a New Data Definition article for further information.

Configuring the AI Summarization Section on a Data Definition

When selecting the data that will create the AI Summarization (Fields, Formulas, and Properties) the process to add these elements to the AI Summarization is the same with the exception of clicking on the corresponding tab to access a specific area (e.g., Fields tab, Formulas tab, or Properties tab). For this illustration, we will be adding fields to the AI Summarization.

  1. From the Admin: Edit Data Definition screen, scroll to the AI Summarization section and click the Expand icon to expand the tab.

  1. From the Fields tab, click on the + Add Fields button.

  1. From the Add Fields pop-up, enter a Field Name in the Search field to narrow the search results.

  1. Click the Fields you want to include in the AI Summarization data.

Best Practice:
It is recommended to include the fields, formulas, and properties that are on the form that you want to include the AI Summarization feature in.

  1. (Optional) Click the Select All radio button to include all listed fields.

As you select fields, the + Add Selected button will keep track of the number of fields you are adding. 
  1. Once you have selected the fields you want to use, click the + Add Selected button to add them to the AI Summarization section, under the corresponding tab.

  1. The AI Summarization section will appear, listing the selected fields under the Fields tab.
