Users may encounter some errors when using AI-Generated Controls. Below is a table listing the most common Generated Controls errors with solutions.

Generated Controls Troubleshooting

Error Error Message Troubleshooting Steps
A user clicks the AI Generate button and the combined name and description of the risk or requirement exceeds the system limit of 20,000 characters. "AI generation isn’t supported when the name and description together exceed the character limit." Name and/or description of the risk or requirement cannot exceed 20,000 characters. 
A user clicks the AI Generate button and the requirement or risk name and/or description is missing. "AI generation isn’t supported without a name and description." Add a name and/or description to the requirement or risk. 
A user clicks the AI Generate button and the name and/or description lacks sufficient detail (for example, only a few words or incomplete context). "No controls generated. The input doesn’t contain enough detail to generate controls." Add more detail to the name and/or description of the risk or requirement.
Generated Controls supports up to 30 new generations per day for all users in total within the Org.  "Service unavailable."  Wait until the next day to generate more controls.
