Creating a New Call Sign Field 

Overview

Administrators can create additional call signs by adding new Call Sign fields, up to 5. Each Call Sign field can contain a maximum of 1000 call signs, allowing an Administrator to add up to 5000 call signs.

User Account Requirements

The user account you use to log into Resolver must have Administrator permission to create or edit a Select List field.

  1.  From the Home screen, click the Administration icon.

  1. From the Administration Settings menu, click the Admin Overview link.

  1. From the Admin: Overview screen, click the Fields tile under the Data Model section.

  1. From the Admin: Fields screen, click on the + Create Field button.

Creating a New Call Sign Field

  1. From the Which type of Field would you like to create? screen, scroll to the Select List section.
  2. Hover your cursor over the Select List field and click the Create Field button.

  1. From the Admin: Create a Field screen, enter Call Sign 2 in the Field Name field. You can have up to 5 Call Sign fields (Call Sign, Call Sign 2, Call Sign 3, Call Sign 4, and Call Sign 5).

  1. Scroll to the Add Options tab.

  1. Enter the call signs (one call sign per line) in the Field Options field.

If the same call sign value is added in multiple fields (e.g., A‑1 exists in both CALLSIGN~1 and CALLSIGN~2) Dispatch will show duplicate entries for that call sign.

  1. Click the + Add Options button to add the call signs to the field.

  1. Click the Create button to create the new Call Sign field.

  1. Click the Lock button on the Unique Name field.

  1. From the Confirmation pop-up, click the Unlock button.

  1. Enter CALLSIGN~2 in the Unique Name field. Each Call Sign field must have a unique name equal to CALLSIGN~2, CALLSIGN~3, CALLSIGN~4, or CALLSIGN~5 for the call signs to appear in Dispatch.

  1. Click the Unlock button to lock the Unique Name field.
