| Adding the Location Property to a Form |
Overview
Administrators can add a location property field to a form to allow users to enter a location displaying it as an address, map, or address and map.
User Account Requirements
The user must have Administrator permissions in order to access the Admin Overview screen.

Navigation
- From the Home screen, click the Administration icon.

- From the Administrator Settings menu, click the Admin Overview link.

- From the Admin Overview screen, click the Configurable Forms tile under the Views section.

- From the Admin: Configurable Forms screen, enter a form name in the Search field to narrow the search results.

- Click a Form Name.

Adding the Location Property to a Form
- From the Admin: Edit Configurable Forms screen, click the Properties link under the Form Elements section to expand the list of options.

- Drag and drop the Location property onto the form canvas. The Location property appears on the canvas as Location and is configured to display the address field only, by default.

- Hover the cursor over the Location property on the form canvas and click the Edit icon.

- From the Edit Component Display pop-up, select a Display As option:
- Address Only: A Location text field will appear on the form. Users can type and view an address in the Location text field. If location sharing is enabled on their browser, auto-complete suggestions will appear based on their current location as the user is typing.
- Map Only: A Map field will appear on the form. Users can select and view a location via pins on a map. If a location hasn't been previously assigned to the object and location sharing is enabled on the user's browser, the map will be centered on the user's current location.
- Address & Map: A Location text field and a Map field will appear on the form. Users can select and view a location through the Location and Map fields. Selecting a location in the Location field will automatically place a pin on the Map.
Display As Option
- Click the Close button to return to the form canvas.

- (Optional) Hover the cursor over the Location field on the form canvas and select the Mark Read-Only link to mark the Location field as read only. When the Location property is read-only, addresses are displayed but are greyed out, and the Map cannot be dragged or zoomed in or out, nor can its pins be moved or deleted.
